For the last few years, my family and I have had some financial troubles. We have gotten behind on our payments with Jim Walter Homes, but thank God we have always been able to make a payment. These are some very rude people that will call you, come to your house, and threaten to take your home. Apparently, these people have never had any hard times, (it must be nice). I really don't understand how this company has remand in business as long as they have. I think they hire the meanest, cruelest, people in the state to work for them. 12a1d25  Comments (23) |

In good faith I dropped out of the lawsuit I did the things i was asked to do I lived in a small storage building while they said in 21 days my house would be just like new well it is worse than when they started it fell while they were still there and they told me too bad we are done and arent coming back they are not only thiefs and con artist they are honmewreckers as well i will never believe another builder or president of a sales division of a company that no longer exists again their words so cleverly produced by their attorney to get you where they want you to only make your home worse is a big joke and yes it was on me for a few weeks until i realized that most were unskilled and untrained to build a dog house much less a house but they make the big bucks to come make empty promises and give you a worse sham than the ones before. Anyone having problems with them please do not believe them or trust them they will never fix your home they are running around making attempts but never fixing anything the damage is too bad to repair in alot of cases I will never never believe or trust them again this is such a joke i am thinking of writing a book go online look up all the fancy houses they live in that we pay for so they can laugh at us it is sickening |

EVERYONE PLEASE GET AN ATTORNEY AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS TO A SAFE AND NON DEFECTIVE HOME THEY STOLE ALL YOURS DREAMS OF BE OWNERS OF NEW HOMES WITH THE SUB STANDARD MATERIALS AND THE WORKERS WITH NO TRAINING TO BUILD HOMES IN THE FIRST PLACE |

They would come out to my home when I wasn't there, threaten me with foreclosure evey week and now that I have a paycheck again they are refusing to take payments just so they can forclose.They have even asked when I can move out and have't even filled out the forclosure papers yet. This is a unprofessional company with unprofessional employees and soon they wont have any homeowners left to pay mortgages because the word is getting out how horrible they are to do business with. |

Written by housefallingintx on March 5, 2010 from corpus christi, texas, US this is to teresa holton: just how long has this lawyer been fighting jim walter??? if you don't know, it's been many, many years. my parents went to him in a class action suit and just when everything was going well, what do you know?? everyone is stuck basically refinancing their home in order to keep it. gee, i wonder how much money this lawyer has made from clients and maybe even from jim walter. the house my parents live in is about 30 yrs old and i don't think it will ever get paid off. and this is with no late payments. forget your lawyer, just try to move out of your home into another. if you can't, i'm sorry. do the best with what you have. |
