I worked for the Tampa office. Walter Industries. WHAT A JOKE. I ran credit and reviewed mortgage applications before turning them over to the Underwriter, among massive other responsibilities. Most times the people couldn't afford the payments yet the underwriter approved the mortgage knowing those mortgages were going to end up in the reposession pile (an even though I put a HUGE red X over the whole application and credit report).
