I am in the process of buying an older house constructed by Jim Walter Homes. Come to find out now all the work has been done with materials that aren t to code for residential housing... It s all used in the construction of mobile homes and the such. How can a company use this type of material on a 10 year old house and feel it is ok not to want to repair, with the proper stuff, the damages that have been done.. This company is a piece of *** just like this house, which I do like by the way, and will have to incurre large repair or replacement bills because they chose to take the CHEAP way out... I need help on purueing options to get proper stuff done on this home which should have been done right 10 years ago... Can someone give me advise... I am now without a back porch/entrance because all the wood rotted uder my home because it was not constructed properly. many more issues inside now too. HELP 12a69e8

I took pictures of the wood as they built mine, and kept asking why the load bearing wall boards had lines where they had been put back together end to end. The contractor told me that this was ok as long as they wee not used for the corners...then I also have pictures of where they used them in the corners.... :?
